Associate and Financial Modeler
Russ Pagan is an Associate and Financial Modeler at JLS Capital Strategies, LLC, where he performs financial, market, and credit analysis of structured and project finance transactions in the oil and gas, telecom, and renewable energy, and other infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining JLS Capital, Russ has worked at the German Marshall Fund, where he conducted Chinese language research of economic and security issues. He has also worked as a Business Development Intern for the Colorado Springs Regional Business Alliance, and a Client Support Intern for Merrill Lynch. He has spent extensive time living and studying in China, where he developed expertise on currency exchange, power generation, and economic development issues. He is receiving an M.A from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), with a specialization in Quantitative Methods and concentrations in International Economics and Chinese Studies.
